Be an Encourager
Learn from three Biblical role models: Jesus, Barnabas and the Good Samaritan. To encourage a relative, friend, co-worker, or neighbor, seven steps will help: Be concerned, available, a good listener, compassionate, an intercessor, a resource person and a life preserver.
Living the Fruitful Life
It’s all about having a willingness to yield – Yield to God and yield a crop of righteousness. Develop your inner fruit by remaining in God’s love, develop character and bearing the fruits of the Spirit. Your outer fruit will be evident when you are available to serve, discover and use your gifts and branch out in ministry.
Starting Support Groups
Consider the times we live in. The world’s people are struggling with divorce, abuse, addictions and broken relationships. WWJD? STOP – LOOK – PROCEED. Learn how to be available to help, be prepared with resources, be approved by your pastor, be covered in payer and be equipped for leadership.
Becoming a Worthy Vessel
Focuses on how God sees us as precious and loved. Oftentimes, we have a distorted view of ourselves. As a piece of clay, in the Master Potter’s hands, we can be reshaped to be the person God created us to be. Learn how to be flexible, centered, cleansed, and filled.
Weeding Out Unhealthy Behaviors
Gardening for the soul gives you insights on how to use spiritual tools to eliminate the unsightly things within our “inner self” (attitudes and habits) and replace them with good and holy plantings. Then your ground will be ready to bear the fruits of the Spirit-love, joy, peace, etc.
